Located at the base of Sleeping Buddha on the banks of the picturesque Ord River, the Kununurra Campdraft and Rodeo Association’s Frontier Helicopters Rodeo is an event not to be missed.  The event is run in conjunction with the Ord Valley Muster.

GETTING THERE

Kununurra Rodeo Grounds is located at the base of Sleeping Buddha, just 5km out of town.

PARKING AND SHUTTLE BUS

Parking is available at the Kununurra Rodeo Grounds.

A courtesy bus will be running a shuttle service between town and the Rodeo Grounds from 3pm. Pickup locations are Hotel Kununurra then outside Lilly Lagoon Resort Lakeside approx. every half hour and outside Kimberleyland Holiday Park approx. every hour.

Departures from the Rodeo Grounds commence at 7.30pm, every hour until midnight.

WHAT TO BRING

Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the event. Please note it can get chilly in the evenings in Kununurra so please bring a coat or something warm.

WHAT NOT TO BRING

This is a licensed event, no BYO alcohol permitted. Camping is not permitted at the Rodeo Grounds.
